Had the chance to walk through a night market – literally, that’s all we did cos we didn’t stop to buy or eat anything. boo! – in Taiwan the other day and took a few photos.
Interesting that the ones of food turned out the best :P
There were lots of stalls featuring kiddy games like the ones above. Other popular ones included fishing for goldfish with a broken net and bursting balloons with darts.
There was a rather good mix of stalls selling random pouches, jewellery, clothes, belts, etc. Quite a few were selling lingerie too.
Such delectable cakes below!
The stall keeper was Caucasian too.
Close-up of the cakes. They were quite high actually – around 8cm in height?
The breads looked so good too.
Quite a few stalls were selling braised black soy sauce things. There were even 2 stalls selling snake soup. Thankfully the stalls that had rabbits were just selling them as pets and not food – they were really cute, small and cuddly!
These aren’t food but actually cacti disguised as tarts, cakes and other sweet treats.
